Esta B Daley
In 2010 Esta won the worldwide JazzFM Puresolo singing competition Her prize was to perform at PizzaExpress Jazz Club Soho and she did exactly that to a sold out audience. Born and raised in Hackney, London, she served her jazz apprenticeship with Cleveland Watkiss before becoming a professional session singer working with bands on tour and in recording studios. She also performed on the Gospel circuit as a solo artist. In 2008 she delivered ‘Edge of the Middle’ – her first EP which she produced containing her own songs - a celebration of her youth and her rich Antiguan heritage. Her second EP ‘Reach for the Moon’ features her love of classic jazz songs. Since then, she has firmly been in the jazz arena and was chosen as the featured singer in a project to release the back catalogue of Black Jazz Records. She re-recorded 'Revelation' and 'Peace' originally sung by R&B recording artist Jean Carn, one of Esta's greatest influences. Esta has worked, amongst many others, with Marco Marconi, Jim Mullen, Karen Sharp, Cheryl Alleyne, Snake Davis

Jo Hutchins
Jo is a classically trained pianist with a performance diploma from the Royal College of Music. But in parallel she has always played in bands, pop, rock, folk, funk and jazz. She started as a teenager playing flute and singing alongside her brother on keys, and later came to jazz as a keyboard player herself. “I love the freedom of jazz, the intellectual challenge of the harmony and rhythms, and the adventure of playing alongside other awesome musicians. She has played with many jazz groups and often been the arranger and orchestrator. She says 'playing with Esta in The Stings is a great experience- no stress, loads of laughs, and excellent music. This is what we bring to our audience.'

Esther Ng
Esther enjoys a wide variety of musical genres, including jazz, soul, latin and funk. Her main influences are Steve Gadd, Larnell Lewis, Harvey Mason and Marcus Miller. She prioritises groove and enjoys interacting musically with everyone in the band, especially the bass player!
She is self taught, except for classical piano lessons as a kid. and doesn't like to be seen as a 'multi-instrumentalist' - however, she is also a very fine double bass player and has done that job for among others...Dave Newton, Art Themen, Alan Barnes, Clark Tracey, Simon Spillett, Nigel Price, Steve Waterman and Freddie Gavita.
Needless to say she is also top class on the kit.
